Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Rymi voice AI platform, APIs, and related services ("Services"), and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using the Services, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
Permitted Use
You may use Rymi to build, deploy, and manage AI-powered voice agents for lawful business purposes, including but not limited to:
- Inbound and outbound customer support
- Sales qualification and follow-up
- Appointment scheduling and reminders
- Surveys and feedback collection
- Internal communications and workflows
Prohibited Use
You must not use the Services to:
Illegal Activity
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or ordinance
- Facilitate fraud, money laundering, or financial crimes
- Engage in unauthorized surveillance or wiretapping
Robocalling & Spam
- Make unsolicited bulk calls without prior express consent from recipients
- Violate the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations (TCCCPR), or equivalent regulations in your jurisdiction
- Spoof caller ID to misrepresent the origin of calls
- Circumvent do-not-call registries
Impersonation & Deception
- Impersonate real individuals without their explicit consent
- Represent AI agents as human when directly asked by the call recipient
- Create deepfake voice clones of public figures or private individuals without authorization
- Deceive recipients about the nature, purpose, or sponsor of a call
Harmful Content
- Generate or distribute threatening, harassing, or abusive content
- Produce content that exploits minors in any way
- Distribute malware, phishing attempts, or social engineering attacks via voice
Platform Abuse
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract models or algorithms from the Services
- Circumvent usage limits, rate limiting, or access controls
- Resell access to the Services without a written reseller agreement
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services or other users' access
Sensitive Use Cases Without Safeguards
- Use AI voice agents for emergency services (911/112) dispatch without human oversight
- Deliver medical diagnoses or legal advice without appropriate disclaimers and licensed professional review
- Process payments or collect financial information without PCI DSS compliance
Disclosure Requirements
When deploying voice agents that interact with the public, you must:
- Identify the caller — Agents must identify themselves and the organization they represent at the start of each call
- Disclose AI nature — When asked, agents must truthfully state that they are AI-powered
- Provide opt-out — Recipients must be able to request transfer to a human or end the call at any time
- Obtain consent — Where required by law, obtain and record consent before recording calls
Monitoring & Enforcement
We reserve the right to:
- Monitor usage patterns for policy compliance (we do not listen to call content)
- Suspend accounts that violate this policy, with notice where practicable
- Terminate accounts for repeated or severe violations without prior notice
- Report illegal activity to appropriate law enforcement authorities
Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any use of Rymi that violates this policy, please report it to abuse@rymi.live. We investigate all reports and respond within 5 business days.
Changes
We may update this AUP to reflect new regulations, platform capabilities, or enforcement learnings. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect.
